Community Involvement
Fibertel Communications believes in offering affordable services to those who provide valuable community needs. In the case of non-profit organizations, we recognize that their requirement for reliable communications systems and infrastructure is just as important as to profit-seeking companies. Fibertel has traditionally been able to make arrangements for such work with non-profit organizations that are mutually beneficial, and in most cases, have led to positive long-term partnerships.
Uncles & Aunts at Large
One of Fibertel Communications' partners was an uncle in this program for over twenty years. Aside from having been an important influence on four nephews over that period of time, he has also been an active force behind the scenes through involvement on volunteer committees and recruitment boards. As a result of this long-standing relationship, a refurbished phone system was installed for the organization a few years ago at minimal cost. In early 2002, coinciding with the renovation of the organization's office, a brand new Samsung system — complete with voicemail, caller ID, and eight stations — was installed at a significant discount.

Bosco Homes
Bosco Homes are full service, self-contained residences and schools for troubled teens. In their specific case, Bosco contacted Fibertel after experiencing difficulty in getting the level of service that they thought they were entitled to from their previous interconnect company. 
Fibertel's quote for services came in at half of what their existing vendor was charging. Since then, they have requested the installation of numerous data runs at various locations, as well as completed the purchase of telephone headsets and cards for their phone system.
In September of 2002, Fibertel Communications even completed a cabling installation for Bosco Homes in Fort Smith, Northwest Territories (photo shown).

Elves Special Needs Society
Elves is a non-profit, private, special education facility providing a full range of care and education services for individuals from two and a half to twenty years of age who are described as severely developmentally delayed or medically fragile. Their complete telephone system support (they purchased a Toshiba system) and voice and data cabling needs have been provided by Fibertel for several years now.
